About Mark...

Mark Evans

In April 2007, Mark Evans -- a devoted husband, father of four, and breadwinner for his family -- was critically injured in a motorcycle accident. As a result, he is now quadriplegic; paralyzed from the chest down.

Update...

Amazing to say that it has been two and a half years since Mark's accident. While he is doing well, the expenses that are not covered by insurance are substantial. The services of a home health care nurse continue as well as other periodic expenses. His injury keeps him confined to his home most of the time. It is our desire to create a path around his backyard and to the front of his home that he can navigate with his wheelchair. Therefore, our goal for this years run is to raise sufficient money to fund this construction project and to continue to fund the expenses not covered by insurance.

While this describes the need for Mark, there are others like him that our Foundation would like to help.

Please help us with Mark and these needs by signing up as a runner or sponsoring this important event.
